Pre-tropical winter calmness in the air

As our winter is a 'pleasant springtime' of the real wintery temperate climates, one would not expect a change in the air, as a shift to moving into the winter from the wet monsoon rains. But their is a definite change. The bright hot sun of the summer is not there and the sky prepares for a winter blue to gray colour depending on if it gets to be chilly. Now, just as we step into the pre- winter, the air has a perfect calmness. The pictures were taken under the midday sun, but the sun appeared to be just "subtle". The air was not hot nor humid as during the heat of the summer under the blazing sun nor wet as during the heavy monsoons, to be honest it was simply perfect. And one can tell from the fresh sprouting of the bougainvilleas, just watch as their branches get filled with fresh colours. Their mix of colours, red, pink and calm yellow, as opposed to their bright burst in the springtime after the winter fog has lifted. Now, they simply appear to enjoy the calm bliss of the mild tropical pre-winter air and hope you can feel this soft freshness too. The china roses are blooming at their best too, the red petals overlap each other closely as if protecting each other hiding the center which is nowhere in sight. Amazing tricks of nature!!
